Last night was the night.. hummmm, that could mean lots of things... but for Mason and I it was our wedding night.. We were married as the sun was setting on a very beautiful day. We had a nice small wedding with a few family and friends. The ceremony was outside with a fabulous view of the Santa Rita Mountains, the palm trees with lit, the fire place and fire pit were lit, tables decorated and two beautiful wedding cakes. We didn't really have any plans on how the ceremony was to go, I asked our guests to come stand around us during the ceremony. I liked the idea of them all being close to us. The ceremony was short but sweet. Only about 5 minutes.. TaraLee was my Maid of Honor even though she didn't know it. She helped me get ready with all the girly stuff a bride just has to do, she helped me get all the decorations out and set the tables, she took pictures, handed me Masons ring when Mason and I exchanged rings and even cleaned up afterwards. Anthony was the Best Man.He played with Malachi before the wedding so TaraLee could help me, he handed Mason my ring when we exchanged rings, and lets see what else did he do.......Not sure. I'm very thankful for all the help I received from them, I know it wasn't easy for them. Troys father Bruce married us. After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed appetizers from the restaurant. Popcorn shrimp, bashita, cheese and crackers and my favorite, crab cakes. There was wine for those of us that like the finer things in life and beer for those who haven't grown up yet! Most everyone stayed until almost 10:00 pm.
what a wonderful day it was..
