Our journey started about a month ago when Mason received a phone call at work asking him if he would be interested in moving to Germany.. The women asked Mason some questions about himself and job related stuff. The call wasn't very long and when Mason got off the phone with her, he called me. He asked me if I would like to move to Germany? I said Germany... WOW... I would love to move there.. Why are you asking, when are we moving and WOW.........Mason laughed and told me about the phone call... He would be working in an Army Hospital doing x-ray. I was on my way to work when he called me and couldn't believe that we might be moving to Germany...
Mason filled out all the paper work they asked for and emailed everything to them, two weeks later he received an offer from Germany. We talked it over and decided it would be an opportunity for us to explore another part of the world together.
We are now waiting for Germany to tell Mason when he has to report there... I'm sure once we have a date things will seem even more real. We have so much work to do to get our house ready to leave and pack up all our stuff.. those who know us know how much stuff we have... (lots of packing and selling the stuff we can live without...) I'm sure there will be times Mason will want to throw me in the trash can, upside down and close the lid. I'm sure there will be times I'll want to throw Mason in the pool.
The hardest thing for me will be leaving my family and friends and finding a new home for my puppy, Sari... Right now I can't think about all that or I'll start to cry....
I started this Blog to help me feel closer to all of you who want to know what is going on in my life. I'm not very good at writing ( I didn't get that talent from my Mom who is very good at it) but I will try to stay current with what's going on...
Sweet dreams
