One more yard sale done. I knew it was going to be a long day for not to much money. When you are selling a lot of .50 cent and dollar items it takes awhile to add up. I can say that I gave away a lot at the end.. so, that means I didn't pack up much to put back into the shed. I am so done with this yard sale crap. One more to go and I should be done with them. We got up at 6:00 am and finished setting up. Mason put signs out just after 7:00am. We had people come a few at a time most of the day. We tore it down around 1:00 pm. It was a sunny day about 84 degrees, a little to much of a breeze at times. My clothes rack blow over once and I had to chase it down. I got smart after that and put a couple bricks on the bottom rack so that didn't happen again. I also got a pretty good sun burn for all my efforts. But, I got rid of a lot of little stuff.....At the end of each sale, I always put a few boxes out at the end of the drive way with a sign on it that says, "FREE, TAKE ALL". Some one always come and takes it all.. it's great, we don't have to haul it off ourselves. Mom was a great help. She does want she can and probably does more then she should. It's great to have her here to help me out...
