I have a lot to catch you up on...

Through the week we've looked at a couple more houses thanks to Steve who takes us to see them, but there hasn't been any one that feels like home yet... We are looking for one that has some personality, one that's quaint, one that's charming and lets just say, you enjoy every moment in it... We want one that has a view, not to big (like a lot of them are here), has DSL for faster internet service, let see a garage would be nice, at least three bedrooms and no pets allowed. Oh, and has great landlords.... There out there.. Steve found one the second day he was here...

Will we think we have found one... It's not exactly what we had in mind but, when does it ever work out like you think it will?... It's a duplex, in a very quaint village not far from where Mason works, not to big, has three bedrooms, one and a half baths, a basement, lots of stairs, no garage or car port, it has a fresh, bright look to it, it's right next to the forest with great walking trails, I can't wait to see it after it snows. We haven't talked to the land lord yet.. The lady that lives there is moving out the end of July... How we found the place is we went with Steve to see his house and his landlord told him about this place.. She doesn't own it but a friend of hers does.. So she took us by, knocked on the door and the lady that lives there didn't mind showing it to us... It's on a hill with a nice view out the up stairs balcony window. So now we are waiting to hear from the landlord. Cross your fingers for us....

All week while Mason has been at work I've been studing for my drivers test... didn't have any fun the last few days... BUT... we took the test today and both passed... It's a hard test and 60% don't pass the first time around...

We also got our car today... We bought a 1993 BMW station wagon... We bought it last week but couldn't get it until we passed our test.. One can't register a car in Germany until one has a German license and insurance.

Oh, we did go to our first flea market on Saturday... No I didn't buy anything, not that I didn't find stuff I would of liked to have had.. and we also went to a couple yard sales.. yes guys,, they have yard sales here.. not like in Arizona but yard sales.. We bought a couple things, an antique picture for the guest room, only $10.00 and a shrunk for the guest room for guest to put their clothes in... So, Cathy I'm getting the guest room ready for you in May....

So it's been quite a week for us...

Next I'll focus on updating my resume and looking for a job...

It's time for bed, so nighty night...
