Yesterday was searching for a hotel and stuff day.. today it's mapping out the directions on how to get there... It's only a 4 and a half hour drive, about 300 miles. We will be driving Brandy (our 1992 BMW station wagon) hope she makes it, she's been a real trooper so far... and depending on Lucy (our GPS) to keep us on the right roads..
We will be driving Northeast from Steinalben until we cross into Belgium. Then Northeast some more until we cross over into Northern France.. then we will head
(I want to say) East, and drive almost all the way across France to Lille.. We are hoping to get there before it gets to dark..
We'll have Brandy ready to go Thursday night. I'll take Mason to work on Friday and pick him up when he gets off so we can leave right from there..
I'll keep you posted on the getting ready for our adventure.. (you know, that's part of the fun of the whole trip)
