Another long time since I've talked to you.. Sorry..

Yesterday was Turkey day... It was great... I woke up around 7:45 am, looked out the window to find everything covered in snow...I ran up stairs, Mason was still sleeping but I shook him around to tell him it had snowed... Somehow, He didn't share my excitment in the new fallen snow and went back to sleep... It was the perfect start of the Holidays... SNOW!!!!!!

The forest was beautiful with it's blanket of white and the air was cold and crisp..

Our guest were to arrive around 3:00 for the big Turkey Dinner.. Steve, Sarah and Ruth.. Steve was bringing the turkey, ham and dressing.. Mason and I did the other dishes and Ruth brought a wonderful cake... The meal was great and it was very nice to have friends to share it with...Everyone knows I'm not the cook, but I'm getting better..

After dinner I took a few minutes to call my family and wish them a Happy Thanksgiving.. I was able to talk with Steve and Anthony.. They both had plans to spend the day with friends and family so I knew all my kids would enjoy their day... TaraLee wasn't home so I missed talking with her.. Mom wasn't home either, so don't know what she was up too...

I have to stop talking about Thanksgiving for a minute and tell you its snowing like crazy right now... It looks like a winter wonderland out side... I love it.... MOM it's so pretty...... The flakes are big and fluffy..

Anyway.. after dinner we sat and talked, then ate dessert.. Oh man.. we all ate too much as usual. After the clean up, it was movie time.. Ruth had gone home so that left just Steve and Sarah.. Mason and I had to work today so we didn't stay up to late.. but tonight Steve and Sarah are back over for left overs.. and a whole night of movies...(I only had to work 2 hours today.. no kids at the center so they sent people home)...Yeah....

Oh my goodness.. the snow is coming down so much now... I'll have to call Mason at work and tell him to drive careful...

Tomorrow we have plans to go to our first Christmas Fest with one of Mason's co-workers.. I'm not sure where it is.. It's about a 3 hour car drive from here.. hope the roads are okay to travel on.. I'll take lots of pictures to share with you.. and hopefully have a great story to tell...
wake up fat and sassy after your Thanksgiving feast...
