It's been awhile, too long in fact.. But I really haven't had anything to talk about.
Not to be negitive but due to our house in Tucson costing us more then we ever expected with repairs to this and that and our car being burglarized, we had to slow down on our travel plans for now... Not fun but hopefully things will get better and we can move on..
End of that story....
When I look out through my upstairs window, I look over the neighbors house and into the forest. It's cloudy with a light misty rain falling off and on. I can see the smoke rising from some of the chimneys of the German homes. It's a very calming view on a fall day such as today. There are two horses in a near by field that don't seem to mind the misty rain as they walk slowly around their pastor looking for their next bite to eat. They belong to our neighbor across the street from us.. I like to stand at the window sometimes and just watch the horses. It's about as close as I can get to them because of my allergies, so it's a treat for me having them there.
My job has kept me very busy. Not sure if I'll stay there yet. There is a large turn over at the center and I know why now.. It's not an easy job watching that many kids when you can't say no, or have time out or anything that could be negitive... So we'll see how long I last..
Mason and I are getting ready to go down to Steve's forest.. Mason has been reading articles on metal detecting in Europe and is all excited about it.. so we will walk alone the path and see what he can find.. He found an old coin right in our back yard yesterday.. it's about 90 years old. so that was pretty cool.. and today he found a charm from Paris of the Eiffel Tower. He's hoping to find just one treasure that is worth tons of money and get a finders fee. He is such a dreamer! But that's okay.. it doesn't cost anything to dream and who knows, some dreams do come true..
Dream Big... love Carole
