You know when people say things and you wonder where they came up with it. Well yesterday a lady at work told me that they (whoever they are) are predicting the worst snow storm in 100 years to fall on us today and tomorrow.. Maybe they are right this time.. it just started to snow. When I got up this morning it was raining out side and as I just turned and looked out my window the flakes have started to fall. I wouldn't mind, Mason and I are off the next two days so it would be wonderfull for me. We have food in the house and friends coming over tonight for Christmas Eve dinner.. who needs anymore. Besides Santa can't come if there is no snow and with Christmas tomorrow we could use a good dumping on. Most of what we have gotten before now is gone or piled up on a sidewalk all dirty and ugly. So.. Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow....

We are having Steve, Rebecca and Sarah over for dinner later on.. We are BBQing Hobo Chicken and I'm making a peanut butter cake. Sarah loves my cake so I thought I'd make one. It's from scratch and it's very, very good if I do say so myself. We have plenty of food if anyone wants to come join us.

Tomorrow we have been invited to go to a friend of Steve's house for Christmas Dinner. We went there once before. They are Americans and live in our village so we won't have far to drive. Just incase we do get the biggest snow storm in 100 years.

Can anyone name all Santas Reindeer?

I'm pretty much ready for Christmas, just one present to wrap. We really didn't do much to celebrate the Holidays this year.. I left all my Christmas in Tucson so I don't have a tree or any decorations and didn't want to go out and buy all that stuff when I have so much at home.. Those of you who know me, know that my trees are jammed packed with beautiful ornaments. So, it just doesn't make since to have one here... It's hard for me, not having my home all decorated and feeling like Christmas when you walk in the door. I'll be glad when January comes and the Holidays are over. I'm trying to find the possitive in all this. I believe I'll find it today and tomorrow when we are sharing the day with our new friends here in Germany. As Steve told me a few weeks ago, Christmas isn't about the tree and all that stuff anyway... He's right you know.
So, my wish this year is to all my family and friends to take time to enjoy one another this year.

Merry Christmas to all..

It's still snowing.....

sweet dreams ... while visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads....
