London...Saturday Night

After eating at Harrods and walking through the chocolate shop it was early evening. The sun was gone and night had come. Seeing London at night was fantastic. I love city lights... London didn't disappoint me..

We jumped on another tube to Piccadilly Circus. I'm glad we saw it at night because there is no better time to visit. We didn't spend to much time there, just kind of walked through it. So can't really tell you much about it other then to say I was there. A large group of Egyptian people celebrating the resignation of the Egypt leader were dancing, singing and carrying signs to show their happiness for their country. One lady had a sign that said Free Hugs.. She tried to coax Mason over for his free hug, but he turned her down... He's kind of shy that way....

It was chilly that night walking through London but I was so excited to be there that it just didn't matter.

We walked to Trafalgar Square from Piccadilly Circus. It wasn't to far. Lots of people were walking around enjoying the sights right along with us. The Square is large with beautiful fountains, statues and a lot of history. I'm glad we saw it at night. All the fountains were lit up and it was just beautiful.

Then I think we jumped back on the tubes and headed down to Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. It doesn't take long to get from one sight to another. It's actually quite amazing how the tubes take you from here to there. When you walk up the stairs from getting off a tube, you are right there starring at what you came to see... It's so convenient. Anyway...

Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament and Big Ben are awesome. We didn't stay to long because everthing was closed. We knew we were coming back in the morning to see everything during the day. Oh, I forgot to mention the London Eye.. It's like a very large Ferris wheel.. Beautiful to see all lit up at night.

We were all getting rather tired so we decided to head back to the hotel.. Rebecca needed a good nights rest. She was going to spend all day Sunday in the hotel studying for her test the next day. That meant the rest of us would be out seeing everything we could see in a day....

It's time for me to say Good-Night... so good night...
